Very soon, for the first time, Yu Sih Ying (Ellie), an artist from Taiwan recognized worldwide, will come to Mexico to teach two workshops during the III International Art Festival RÍOS DE COLOR.

Schedule: 11:00 am to 6:00 pm (1-hour for lunch break)
You may attend just one day of the workshop for half the price.
Both workshops will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break, in Mexico City.
Note: The schedule within each day may be slightly adjusted; some workshops may start at 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. The final schedule will be confirmed in August.

During each workshop, every participant will create several highly expressive landscape and urban sketch pieces.
You will learn about architectural drawing and urban landscape in watercolor, as well as the use of technical pens and Indian ink.

Yu Sih Ying (Ellie)
Yu Sih Ying/Ellie (Taiwan), is a Taiwanese visual artist and watercolorist whose work portrays everyday life through drawing and watercolor. Her artworks often capture scenes from travel, traditional markets, religious festivals, and social gatherings. She explores both static subjects—such as landscapes and cultural ties—and scenes filled with social movement, inviting viewers to connect with experiences that resonate with their own lives.
Her work has been recognized through numerous national and international awards, including First Prize at the 26th and 25th Fu-Hsin Cup National Watercolor Contest, the Silver Medal at the 3rd Taiwan Watercolor Award, Second Prize at the Mazu Painting Watercolor Competition during the Taichung Mazu International Festival, and First Prize at the 3rd MacKay Cup Painting Contest. In addition to these distinctions, she has been invited as a featured artist and demonstrator at major international events such as the Fabriano in Acquarello International Watercolor Exhibition in Italy, SIMAC – 1st International Salon of Women in Contemporary Watercolor, the Yaku International Watercolor Meeting in Peru, and the AsiaLink Sketchwalk in Malaysia. Her career includes multiple solo exhibitions held in Taiwan between 2016 and 2025, as well as ongoing participation in group exhibitions, consolidating her recognition both locally and internationally.
