Very soon, for the first time, Liu Yi, one of the most important artists from China, recognized worldwide, will arrive in Mexico to teach two workshops during the III International Art Festival RIOS DE COLOR in CDMX.

You may attend just one day of the workshop for half the price.

Both workshops will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break, in Mexico City.

Note: The schedule within each day may be slightly adjusted; some workshops may start at 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. The final schedule will be confirmed in August.

The artist works in an atmospheric watercolor style, using soft glazes, lost edges, and masterful control of water to create immersive light effects. Her approach combines the synthesis of forms with precise touches of detail at focal points, achieving great emotional depth. From her technique, you can learn to prioritize values, suggest rather than describe, and treat light as the main compositional element. She also teaches mastery of alla prima watercolor and the importance of economical brushwork to maintain freshness and movement.

1. Pay the registration fee of 2,000 pesos to the account details provided in the form. If you are attending for only one day, the fee is 1,000 pesos for that day.
