These workshops are designed both for artists who have always dreamed of learning to paint the sea in watercolor and for those who wish to deepen and refine their skills in the marine landscape genre.

The sea is never the same. It can be serene and contemplative or wild and dramatic, and each of its states requires a different approach. During this masterclass, we will explore how to use watercolor techniques to depict a wide variety of water conditions: from calm anchorages and reflective surfaces to crashing waves and dynamic coastal scenes.

You will learn to create a convincing sense of depth and movement, paint waves and foam, and convey transparency and light in still waters. Special attention will be given to choosing the right techniques for each state and atmosphere of the sea.
