Ivan Loginvov

Ivan Loginov (b. 1994) in Abakan (Southern Siberia), Russia.

He began his career at the age of 15 in Saint Petersburg. From an early age, he developed a passion for classical representational art.

He devoted most of his time to studying the principles of Russian classical painting at the Imperial Academy of Arts, which has maintained an uninterrupted tradition since 1757. During his studies, he focused not only on the technical aspects of painting but also on philosophy. His goal is to achieve a balance between inner and outer beauty in the human portrait.

His success comes from a deep understanding of the classical school of thought in painting and drawing. He strives to combine and layer all his skills to achieve an accurate representation of the human soul.

He enjoys playing with and implementing contrasts in color, technique, and ideas. Therefore, even in his large-scale historical paintings, one can find clear messages about current issues in society.

From 2009 to 2013, he studied at the Johanson Academic Art Lyceum in Saint Petersburg.

From 2013 to 2019, he studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts (Repin Academy of Fine Arts), Department of Painting, in the studio of Professor Pesikov, Saint Petersburg.

He studied with P.A. Sadovsky, N.D. Blokhin, D.A. Collegova, I.V. Petrov, N.N. Repin, N.S. Lysak, G.A. Gukasov, A.L. Ivanov, I.V. Ovcharenko, and other professors of the Academy of Arts.

From 2019 to 2021, he served as Assistant to the leading master at the Imperial Academy of Arts.

Since 2016, he has been working in his studio in Saint Petersburg.
