Slawa Prischedko – Ukraine.

Slawa Prischedko (Ukraine, 1957) is a watercolorist, educator, and international exhibitor. She trained at the Kiev Academy of Visual Arts with a focus on architecture and painting, and also studied scenography at the Odessa National Art Institute. Her dedication to watercolor has led her to refine techniques that blend delicacy with emotional expression, making light and color the protagonists of her work.

Since the 1990s, she has lived and worked in Germany (Trier), where she runs a painting studio and school together with her wife, fellow artist Viktoria Prischedko, fostering a creative community for artists from around the world.

Her work centers on the human figure, particularly female portraits, exploring light, color, and shadow to create evocative atmospheres. In many pieces, the figures emerge as inversions of the background color, generating mysterious and dreamlike effects reminiscent, in technique and composition, of Italian Renaissance art.

Slawa Prischedko has exhibited across Europe, Asia, and the United States, and is a member of contemporary and watercolor art associations in Germany and Europe. Her work combines refined technique with artistic sensitivity, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the details and ambiance of each piece.
