Born in Russia in 1972, Michael Solovyev has chosen Montréal, Canada as his home since 2011. From there, his works continue to add to the beauty and value of both public and private collections around the world.

He is a participant in 16 personal exhibitions and more than 70 group exhibitions in different countries with multiple awards.

Michael teaches at Syn Studio, a prestigious art school in Montreal, and he conducts private lessons in his studio, as well as master classes around the world.

His professional associations include Master status with IWS GLOBAL (International Watercolor Sociéte) and IWS Canada. He’s an elected member of SCA (Society of Canadian Artists), MAU (Moscow Artists Union), and UTF (Union of Theatrical Figures). He’s also active with OPA (Oil Painters of America), TWSA (Transparent Watercolor Society of America), and NEWS (Signature Member – North East Watercolor Society).
