Sattha Homsawat (La Fe) was born on November 12, 1969, he studied at the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture at Silpakorn University, in Thailand. He began to exhibit his works in 2013, from his first exhibition he stood out and the following year he presented 14 individual exhibitions in Rome, Paris and Brussels.
La Fe paints almost exclusively roses. During the long years that he has been painting with watercolor, he has become so expert that, according to him, he can paint any rose using only three colors: yellow, blue and red.
He is best known for his work Amazing Roses, done in watercolor technique. His interest in the subject began when he met his future wife. He showed her a picture of a white rose. He loved the painting so much that it inspired him to learn and observe all the nuances of the world of roses. He became known for his series of international workshops and paintings "Watercolor without drawing."
He follows the purist tradition of watercolor and often depicts outdoor subjects. He often demonstrates to large audiences and is in demand around the world, with invitations from a large number of fans from Russia, Europe, Southeast Asia, China and other regions.
He is able to capture his perception on paper with the immediacy and directness that guarantee his talent. He has appeared on Thai television and in the international arts press.
La Fe has participated in more than 80 international exhibitions in the last four years and has been one of the main promoters of organizing international watercolor exhibitions in Thailand. He is highly respected in the global art community.
This relatively young master has built an international reputation that looks set to continue to grow.
