Born in 1993 in Cuzco Peru, graduated from the Carlos Baca Flor National Art School in Arequipa – Peru, where he studied Art with a Major in Painting.

For the painter specialized in watercolor, Jorge, his vocation as a painter was always clear. Despite his youth, in a short time he has become one of the most respected and admired watercolorists in the world thanks to his landscape work which reflects his deep love for nature, especially for the Andes.

In his watercolors, delicate compositions and atmospheres are united with a masterful use of color theory that transports us to his magical places, almost dreamlike landscapes that surround us and we cannot stop observing to discover each brushstroke and each detail.

His recent achievements include:

-First prize at the international watercolor festival “Once upon a time in a city” Siberia (Russia) 2022

-First prize in the “Puebla Vieja de Laredo” outdoor painting contest (Spain) 2022

-Second prize at the 7th international watercolor biennale Belgrade, (Serbia) 2022

-Second prize at the international watercolor festival «Confluences» Aiguillon (France) 2021

-Nominated for the Prize at the International Youth Watercolor Festival, Plovdiv (Bulgaria) 2020

-First Prize “Premio Tlaloc”, Watercolor Museum of the State of Mexico (Mexico) 2018

-Second Prize in Quick Painting Contest, León (Spain) 2018

-First Prize in the International Art Competition Landscape Category, Potrero de los Funes (Argentina) 2018

-First Prize, Apech Valparaíso (Chile) 2017

His works have been exhibited in Peru, Italy, Mexico, Serbia, Russia, Spain, Costa Rica, China, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Bulgaria and among other international exhibitions.
