Anna Massinissa is an industrial designer and has worked since 1983 in the field of consulting, marketing and communication, web, multimedia and publishing.

With her team, she designed communication campaigns and events for the most prestigious companies in the Italian region of Marche.

She attended watercolor and illustration schools with numerous international teachers.

In the 1990s, she taught techniques and software for illustration and digital publishing in European-funded training projects.

In the same years, she experimented and created multimedia and animated sets for the theater and for the web, using new information technologies.

In 2006, she founded the InArte Cultural Association in Fabriano, Italy, with the aim of sharing and growing the artistic passion that she has cultivated since she was little in the region she belongs to.

She has led the organization in many international art projects dedicated to contemporary art and aquatic media.

For InArte, in collaboration with prestigious national and international organizations and institutions, she designs and coordinates a large number of events dedicated to contemporary visual and plastic art, as well as contemporary water painting on paper.

Among these events, in 2010, are the conference of the international year, FabrianoInAcquarello, and the Marche D’Acqua Award.

As a curator, she prefers events related to the discovery of human cultures or their land and to 'relational' art.

She uses these events as a tool to enhance the cultural identities of the places where they take place, as well as an incentive to deepen territorial roots.

In 2014, after having participated in a large number of exhibitions and international meetings, she was appointed representative in Italy of the IWS (International Watercolor Society), a function linked to the FabrianoInAcquarello event that had meanwhile acquired international importance.

In 2015 and 2016, she was a member of the Board of Directors Panel.

From 2014 to 2016, she was a member of the board of directors of the Mussale System of the province of Ancona.

In 2017, she inaugurated, as creator, the launch of the International Watercolor Museum, a collection of more than 800 works of contemporary art on paper.

She is currently interested in experimenting with typical materials from her region (cellulose, handmade paper, vintage fabric) and traditional techniques in aquatic media used in unconventional ways.

She is particularly interested in the evolution of relational art and visual communication.
