Iranian artist, born in 1955, is a painter specialized in watercolors. He teaches watercolor painting classes, however, he is proficient in various techniques and styles.

He is known for his online tutorials on painting portraits and landscapes with watercolors.

He began his artistic activity as a child, but Professor Akbar Akbari's professional career in the art world began in 1998.

Master Akbar Akbari has obtained countless and very notable recognitions in his artistic career, among which the holding of more than 30 group exhibitions in Tehran and other cities stands out. He has participated in numerous national festivals. He has participated in hundreds of in-person workshops, competitions and international events in different cities including Terán. He has held more than ten individual exhibitions.

He won the title of selected artist in this festival and competition of the World Watercolor Society of Türkiye (Izmiren); at the World Watercolor Society of India festival and competition (New Delhi); at the festival and competition of the World Watercolor Society of Italy (Fabriano). In each of these festivals and competitions, where their work was published in the exclusive catalog.

Participated in the Italia Aberg 2015 Exhibition, Managed the celebration of the exhibition The Television of Water and Color (February 2016) and the celebration of the third festival of Iranian watercolorists.

He won the title of selected artist at the World Watercolor Society Nepal Festival and Competition; from the World Watercolor Society of Türkiye (Izmir); at the festival and competition of the Albanian International Watercolor Society (Tirana/2016); in the festival and competition of the World Watercolor Society of Ecuador in 2016, where his work was published in each festival and competition in the exclusive catalog.

His most important individual exhibitions: 1995 in Istanbul, Türkiye, for a week; 1996 exhibition at Türkiye's Marki Sanat Gallery, Istanbul; International exhibition of his students in Istanbul in September 1996.

He is invited by the International Association of World Painters to participate in the International Festival of Painters of India. Impression and presence of the work at international events in Qasiantep, Türkiye, 2017; participation in the Canada 2017 World Competition.

He is the founder of the first international school in Iran under the supervision of the World Association of Painters and the third school in the world. Official global instructor and Mastercard holder of the IWS Globe Art Network – International Watercolor Society.

In 2018 he participated in festivals in Dubai, Pakistan, in 2019 he exhibited in Canada, and received the statue of Iranian artists in Armenia. He exhibited with his students in Istanbul, 2020 was selected for the World Arang Festival in Pakistan and received a representative statue of the event.

He was chosen in the Argentina Online Festival in 2021; Winner of the international watercolor exhibition in the United States (Florida). He also won at the Ankara Online World Competition in Türkiye and at the exhibition of selected works in Istanbul.

He was a Judge of the technical and professional painting, work and knowledge of the country competitions in Iran, and the international coffee festival in Iran. In 2021 he was judge of the Iran International Watercolor Festival; judge at the IWS Art Month Watercolor Festival; and Referee of the Iran China watercolor competition.

In 2022, he attended the International and World Watercolor Festival in Türkiye and Izmir; and held the exhibition of his students which took place in Istanbul from October 17 to 25, 2022. From October 23 to 30 he attended the International Indian Festival in Antalya by invitation of Ghazi Pasha Municipality.

He also received invitation and participated in international festivals in Antalya, Türkiye, Cyprus and Peru with the participation of world-renowned artists in 2023 and 2024.
