Born in Mexico City, she studied architecture in her home country.

Since 1998, she has been fully dedicated to watercolor, a technique she fell deeply in love with.

She has participated in over 30 collective exhibitions, both nationally and internationally.

She has been awarded on various occasions, both in Mexico and abroad.

She won the Alfredo Guati Rojo Prize at the XLI edition of the Amateur Competition, and second place at the XII Salon of Watercolor in Morelos.

She has received Honorable Mentions at the 1st Edition of the Rodin-Lumen Prize, at the VI and XI Editions of the Tláloc Prize, at the 62nd National Salon of Watercolor in Mexico, at the International Watercolor Triennial in Varna (Bulgaria), at the International Watercolor Exhibition Malaysia 2019, at the 1st International Exhibition Great Masters of Watercolor 2019 at Sare Gallery (Moscow), and at the International Competition 'Step by Step' organized by IWS Poland.

Since July 2017, she has been the leader of International Watercolor Society Mexico.

In 2019, she was Manager of IWS Globe and since 2020 serves as Vice President of this organization.

She has organized the International Watercolor Competition 'Thoughts of Water' in Chihuahua, the exhibition 'In the Air' at the National Museum of Watercolor 'Alfredo Guati Rojo' (CDMX, 2018) and at Central University of Quito (Ecuador, 2019), as well as the International Watercolor Competition 'Tláloc Prize' in Toluca (2018 and 2019).

She has taken Mexican artists to galleries in Madrid, Moscow, and other international cities.

Since April 2024, she is Vice President of the Mexican Society of Watercolorists.

She has been a juror in multiple painting competitions, as well as a manager and promoter of watercolor, organizing competitions, plein air outings, festivals, and national and international exhibitions.
