Portrait Contest

• •Limited capacity.
• •Participants of all nationalities over 18 years old.
• •Registration and payment must be completed at www.rios-de-color.com by September 28, 2025.
• •In-person registration will be on September 28 from 9:30 to 10:00 AM with official identification.
• •Contest duration will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
• •Participants will be divided into groups with one model per group for better visibility.
• •Materials are the participant's responsibility. The support will be sealed for the artwork.
• •One artwork per participant will be accepted.
• •Horizontal or vertical format.
• •Accepted measurements: 56x38 cm or 55x40 cm.
• •Allowed techniques: drawing, charcoal, sanguine, sepia, acrylic, oil, acrylics, 100% transparent watercolor on paper, dry or oil pastels, india ink, gouache, mixed techniques.
• •Sculpture, engraving, collage, assemblage, digital images, digital editing, reproduction or printing are not accepted.
• •Restroom and water services will be available.
• •Participants may manage their time as they see fit.
• •The completed artwork must be submitted to the committee for evaluation.
• •The jury's decision will be final. The artist's presence is essential to receive the prize.

Winners will receive the following prizes:

  From Centro Cultural Juan Rulfo: walk along Augusto Rodin corner with Lic. Irineo Paz, to Plaza Valentín Gómez Farías.

  From Patriotismo Avenue: turn right on Rubens to the corner with Augusto Rodin.
• 3
  From Metro Mixcoac: walk along Revolución, turn on Rubens, cross Patriotismo to the corner with Augusto Rodin.
• 4
  From Metrobús Parque Hundido: walk along Millet to Augusto Rodin corner with Lic. Irineo Paz.
