Graduated from the Colorado Institute of Art, Ted Nuttall is a figurative artist whose artistic expression was born from his observation of people.

He is a member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, and the San Diego Watercolor Society.

He holds Master Signature status with the Transparent Watercolor Society of America and Watercolor West.

His paintings continue to win awards in juried exhibitions across the country.

His work has appeared in numerous national and international art publications.

He was a featured artist in the Russian publication Masters of Watercolor in 2014 and in the French publication Pratique des Arts in 2013.

Ted was the featured cover artist for the February 2014 issue of Watercolor Artist magazine.

His work has been published in North Light Books, Splash 8, and Splash 10, and his painting 'Whispering Smith' appeared on the cover of Splash 12.
