Born in Qingdao in 1973. Graduated from the High School Affiliated with the China Academy of Art in 1992.
Earned a bachelor's degree from the Academy of Fine Arts at Qingdao University and a master's degree in Painting and New Media from the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Austria.
Currently pursuing a PhD in Art Anthropology and Philosophy of Art at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
She is a professor in the Watercolor section at Qingdao University and holds executive positions in various national and international art organizations.
She is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, IWS, NWS, SWS, and PWS, and was a designated artist of the 2018 Qingdao Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
She has received numerous national and international awards, and her works are part of collections in museums, galleries, and private collectors worldwide.
She has served as a juror in multiple biennials and international watercolor exhibitions, and has organized and participated in dozens of international exchange exhibitions and art fairs.
She is the author of several publications, including 'Collection of Powerful Contemporary Artists - Shan Hong' and 'Masters of Watercolor · Shan Hong'.
